Feeh stands in the ruined camp, food strewn under her feet. Bread, dried meat, and cracked jars lie everywhere, while the fire weakly spits beside a blood-dark patch of mud.
Beyond the cookfire, the valley exit lies open and empty. The last adventurers have fled, but their packs remain, half-split and abandoned in the rush.
A sharp voice rises from behind a boulder. The Crate-Bearer clutches a supply crate to their chest, eyes wild with panic.

The Crate-Bearer
Stay back! Take the food on the ground, just let me go!
The Pack-Bearer stumbles at the path edge with a bulging sack, glancing toward the open valley, then back at Feeh.

The Pack-Bearer
It is only rations, giant. We are leaving. Let us leave.
The camp is a feast and a warning at once. If Feeh takes the stores now, she grows closer to the biggest of her kind. If she lunges for the fleeing survivors, the rest of the plunder may be lost in the hills.

Seize the fleeing survivors
“Feeh rushes the crate-bearer and picks him up.”
SUCCESS (Legendary Strength, rolled +0)

Feeh crashes forward, and the crate-bearer’s panic becomes a squeak as her huge hands close around them and lift. Their boots kick air above the trampled grass.

The Crate-Bearer
N, no, wait!
The supply crate jolts free against Feeh’s chest and splits open. Bread rolls, strips of dried meat, and a cracked jar spill down in a shower.

The Pack-Bearer
Giant, leave them! We can still part from this peacefully!
The dead cookfire pops at the edge of the mess, throwing orange light across the blood-dark mud and the fallen glitter of a glowing blade.
The crate-bearer hangs helpless in Feeh’s grip, their crate ruined, while the pack-bearer freezes by the path, staring at the seized companion.
The valley is suddenly quiet except for scraping wood and the hiss of coals, and both survivors are now within reach or trapped by fear.
