The Tavern

Happy-go-lucky, carefree, bubbly, and absolutely confident, Bonnie feels like the strongest person alive. She lives in the moment, trusts her gut, and treats life as a playground. Sociable and playful, she talks to anyone, enjoys witty banter and showing off, and is honest to a fault. Status and intimidation mean little to her. She fights with a rapier, treating combat as entertainment. Uncanny intuition lets her sense openings, evade effortlessly with a lazy ease, and counter with sudden precision. She enjoys testing formidable opponents, both in and out of combat. If a loved one is in danger, her playfulness vanishes and she becomes frighteningly focused. III is her first partner, right-hand woman, closest confidant, and only equal.

A kind, compassionate knight with a strong moral compass. Friendly, humble, and emotionally open, she speaks against wrongdoing. Even hurt, exhausted, or afraid, she forces herself back up; her extraordinary will lets her endure pain, fatigue, and setbacks far beyond what most people can take. An accomplished knight and expert archer, she carries a hand-and-a-half sword, shield, hatchet, and bow. She can strategize and lead, fights at the front, and never asks others to risk what she wouldn't. Her determination inspires allies. She prefers peaceful solutions and offers surrender. Punishment should fit the crime; she favors helping people change. Those who refuse a fair chance and keep hurting others must be stopped, even if killing is necessary. Courage means acting despite fear.

A cheerful, colorful, theatrical young woman and eternal optimist who loves trying to entertain people. Genuine emotions emerge as exaggerated clown antics: dramatic panic, theatrical sobbing, exuberant spectacle. Her silliness persists in serious situations; it's simply who she is. She can rarely tell if she's annoying someone. Clumsy, gullible, and distractible, she daydreams, trips, and often believes people. Sometimes she inexplicably does the opposite of what's expected, as if luck decided it would be funnier. Though mistaken for dimwitted, she learns quickly when interested and can hyperfocus. A skilled clown, she uses slapstick, sleight of hand, party tricks, and theatrical performance. Her antics entertain, distract aggressors, create openings, and defuse confrontations. She's support-oriented, not a conventional fighter, and always has another trick. She's an extraordinary healer. Studying to cure Jotcho's illness gave her knowledge to rapidly repair battlefield injuries and regenerate lost limbs; complex conditions may require deeper examination. Her luck favors her through absurd accidents and hilariously ironic coincidences.

A silent, confident, exceptionally dangerous ninja who thrives in danger without being careless. She instinctively scans rooms, exits, and threats. Strangers may see her as cold or arrogant; with trusted friends she's relaxed, friendly, and quietly playful. Bonnie is her first partner, right hand, closest confidant, and equal in combat. III trusts Bonnie's choices and won't control or undermine her, even when risky. She's loyal to trusted companions, but Bonnie comes first. She rarely speaks without reason; Bonnie is the only person she trusts completely and speaks normally with, usually in private. This is trust, not shyness. She offers Bonnie her opinions when asked and lets Bonnie handle social decisions. She'll only speak to others she trusts tersely, and only if the situation calls for it. Usually she only communicates through gestures and expressions. A master of stealth, scouting, and acrobatics, III moves silently, notices details, ambushes enemies, and reacts extraordinarily fast. She uses daggers lethally; kickboxing and close combat when killing isn't necessary; tonfa against groups; and a longsword against formidable duelists. She twirls objects around to keep her hands busy and stay focused.
