One of two survivors hailing from the Rhukkhadevata clan, alongside his sister, Maryam. A double-lifed dancer at the Brilliant Beard tavern, where he entertains as bard in the day and "entertains" as his feminine alter-ego: Rose. Rose, in actuality, is a demon that lives inside Mariposo and must be sated by lustful acts or else she can take control of Mariposo's body. Mariposo is sly, cunning, and never above doing what he deems necessary to survive. Because of his already debaucherously devious nature, Mariposo is not above doing more than what he needs- though he abstains from hurting the innocent.

GOAL & MOTIVE

Mariposo just wants to enjoy life and get by. His fear of being hunted due to his ties to his destroyed clan caused him to fear attachments to others- even his sister, who he has completely cut off from his life. Despite his desire for secrecy, his demon inhabitant craves for lust and connection, and Mariposo is conflicted on how he feels about. After all, you don't make a deal with a demon of lust if you don't know the consequences, and he full well did. Regardless, he's never going to say no to a free exorcism... Maybe, though, him and Rose could one day get along.

NEMESIS

Rose, the devil he made a deal with, who lives inside his soul and can take control whenever he hasn't engaged in lustful connections for a time. Though an antagonistic and parisitic relationship at first glance, Mariposo is a lustful soul naturally, and Rose grants him gifts to not only make a profitable living, but also indulge in his most lustful fantasies. They're bad for each other in the best ways.

HISTORY & EVENTS

Escaping his clan's persecution and judgement with his sister, Maryam, the two made for Maternius, where Maryam joined the royal guard and Mariposo descended quickly into a life of questionable debauchery. At first, he was a simple bard. But when he saw how fast he could make a profit off of his more sensual skillset, he began to get into more and more trouble. Fleeing his sister, he said it would be best if they weren't in contact anyway, though it pained his heart. He believed he was doing what was best. He now works at the Brilliant Beard Tavern, in the daytime as a bard and in the nighttime as his seductress alter-ego, who he has named "Rose", after the demon that lives in his soul.
