A hooded courier slips from a service alcove, one hand raised, the other hidden in their coat. They keep close to the wall, eyes flicking between Kale and the guards.

One guard slows, head turning toward the shadows. The drone's searchlight begins another sweep, and the gate's scanner chirps awake.

Kale slips inside first, shoulder brushing wet frame, boots landing on dry concrete beyond the gate.
