Shutters slam open along the passage. Armored adult security personnel pour through with compact rifles and opaque visors, while black targeting drones unfold from ceiling recesses and paint red aim points across the corridor.

Nyx raises the KX-9 palm pistol and fires through the corridor’s red targeting haze. The compact weapon bucks hard, driving a sharp bruise into her palm as the first armored guard drops.
She tracks across the security line with controlled shots. One round strikes squarely through an opaque visor, a clean headshot; the remaining Bay C personnel collapse or stagger out of the firing lane.
The targeting drones snap their aim toward Nyx, but the fallen security line leaves the corridor open. She plants one boot against the wall to absorb the recoil and keep the woman behind the gun counter and Asha behind her.

The guards are down. Nyx, your hand is shaking. Give me the archive route and I will keep the drones off you.
Smoke curls from the KX-9’s muzzle. The security personnel no longer block the passage, but the drones remain active overhead, red aim points sliding across the walls as Nyx holds the cleared lane.

Mina crosses on Nyx’s timing and takes the exposed guards down while the drones redirect overhead. Two magazines keep the KX-9 firing, and the cleared route opens fully toward Asha’s command interface.
