Adventure of nyxous 1

Nyxous reaches the three-winged shrine marker, where a standing stone rises from the snow beside the descending road. Pyros's bundle remains secured beneath her folded wings.

Beyond the ridge, the abandoned shrine lies half buried beneath drifts, its broken roofline and dark stones emerging from the white slope. No companion has followed her; the gate warden remains behind at the settlement.

A faint blue pulse seeps beneath the shrine's sealed stone threshold, brightening whenever Nyxous shifts the bundle closer. Frost trembles across the carved three-winged symbol.

The weathered clasp on Pyros's belongings answers with a muted chime. Blue light threads through the surrounding carvings, tracing a narrow outline around the threshold.

Snow slides from the lintel as something ancient stirs beneath the shrine. The sealed stones remain unmoved, but a second pulse travels outward through the ground beneath Nyxous's claws.

The map's refuge mark, the bundle's clasp, and the guardian ward now point to the same hidden entrance. The shrine waits in the cold, offering no words and no visible threat.

Nyxous draws Pyros's bundle beneath her wing and carefully presses its weathered clasp against the glowing guardian carving. Blue light floods the three-winged symbol.

The clasp rings once, clear and deep. Frost cracks across the threshold as the ward recognizes the metal, and pale lines spread through the buried stone.

A seam opens beneath the carving, widening into a dark stairway descending under the shrine. Warm air rises from below, carrying the scents of cedar, old ash, and mountain water.

The blue radiance gathers around Pyros's belongings without disturbing them, then settles into a steady glow along the stair edges. The guardian mark remains lit behind Nyxous.

Beyond the first steps, carved wings cover the walls, each feather marked with tiny names worn smooth by age. A faint current of warm air leads downward into the hidden shrine.

Snow continues falling over the broken roof, but the opened threshold offers shelter and a clear passage beneath the glacier ridge. Pyros's bundle remains secure as Nyxous reaches the stairs.
