Across the ridge, branches shudder as Sakura and Sasuke continue after Kakashi. Naruto’s movement makes the snare creak, leaving the knot exposed but dangerously taut.

Logan draws his kunai and cuts through the taut knot beneath Naruto. The rope parts cleanly, and Naruto drops safely onto the grass beside him.
