The dreamstone fragment casts a dim silver path across the floor and up a mural. Painted realms divide beneath its glow, each receiving a different shard carried by distant, faceless figures.

The three-jointed seeker remains at the threshold, long limbs folded beneath the broken crown. The sealed stone rings still block the stair behind, leaving no passage back to the chapel.

Among the crystal tablets, one inscription remains legible beneath a veil of dust. Its letters kindle faintly as the fragment passes near them.

Gathering the fragments will awaken the crown’s final command. The words end there, but the mural’s painted figures all face the same unseen throne.

ShadowForge DreamStalker brings the fragment close to the crystal tablet and studies the faintly kindled letters. Dust settles from its grooves as the silver light clarifies each elven stroke.

The words resolve into an ancient warning: when the final fragment enters the crown, the unseen throne will name one bearer and command the refuge to open. The other bearers will become its witnesses.

A second line lies beneath the first, concealed by dust rather than magic. It records that the crown was made to choose obedience, while the archive keeper hid a contrary path in the mural.

The fragment's silver path shifts across the floor, leaving the tablet and tracing a narrow route toward a mural panel beneath the painted throne. A concealed mark shaped like an open hand glimmers there.
