Static hisses through the shop comms. Marcus Black eye’s voice cuts in from the rain, clipped and urgent. "Contact on the horizon. Heavy class. Same profile as the Magos killers."
Inside Burnt Egg, the Ash Bringer stands half-open to the storm, rear spine lights pulsing steady now, but the perimeter is still bare. Broken Leg slows his work and looks toward the blast door.

Broken Leg
If he is right, that is not a raid. That is a purge.

Naira Versta Nai
The spine is holding. The shop is not.
Outside, rain smears the threshold into a silver blur. Marcus remains in position beyond the door, rifle low, using the storm as cover while he tracks the incoming signature.

Marcus Black eye
Naira, I can buy minutes, maybe. If that machine reaches the Egg, your repair means nothing.
Broken Leg steps back from the Ash Bringer’s flank, one hand still on the fresh plating, the other ready for the next tool or weapon. The choice lands hard, defend the shop now, or put the mech back into the fight before the horizon arrives.

Put the Ash Bringer back into the fight
“knowing it might be the asg bringers last sortie i give broken leg a tired look as i hop in and send a message to black eye "i will pull their aggression you take out anything that can kill ash bringer in one hit"”
SUCCESS (Legendary Piloting, rolled -2)

Naira gives Broken Leg a tired look, then commits. She climbs into the Ash Bringer’s cockpit and seals herself in as the harness catches with a hard clack.

Naira Versta Nai
I pull their attention. You drop anything that can kill the Ash Bringer in one hit.

Broken Leg
Understood. Give me a clear shot line and I will keep the spine alive.

Marcus Black eye
Copy. I see the lead silhouette now.
The main lights dim as the mech wakes, and the rear spine alarm shifts from a shriek to a hard, steady warning. Outside, Marcus raises his rifle into firing position, tracking the storm-dark horizon.
Naira brings the Ash Bringer a half-step forward inside the bay, enough to draw a line of sight through the open door. The move costs her a burst of coolant pressure, and white vapor hisses across the floor.
The perimeter holds for the instant, tense and armed, while the first heavy contact closes somewhere beyond the rain.
“ash soon as i am far enough from the egg i let loss the fire storm missile and ash bringers napalm flamers fighting like it was do or die while making she to keep black eyes sight line clear”
SUCCESS (Legendary Piloting, rolled +0)

The Ash Bringer lurches out from the bay line, optics blazing. Naira keeps the nose just far enough past the threshold for Marcus to hold the lane, not the wall behind her.
Firestorm missiles punch into the rain. A rolling sheet of heat blooms beyond the door, and the first heavy silhouette staggers in the glare.
Napalm flamers rake the approach in a tight fan. The wet ground flashes to steam, and the kill zone becomes a blinding strip of white-orange light.

Marcus Black eye
Keep that angle, Naira. I have the opening.
Marcus fires from the rain-dark edge, his shot threading clean past the mech’s flank. The incoming frame jerks, armor sparking, then disappears into the burning haze.
Inside the bay, Broken Leg stays on the spine panel, hands moving fast while the alarm keeps its hard, steady pulse. The Ash Bringer holds together under fire.
The perimeter is still loud, still hot, but it holds. Then another contact marker blooms through the smoke beyond Marcus’ sight line.
“i send orders to broken leg to get black eye into the test bed sniper chassis we had been working on it was a mammoth class mech with a sniper bout as big as it was. i also promise to hold them off long enough for broken leg to get into her Hercules class fireprood brawler mech”
SUCCESS (Mediocre Command, rolled +0)

Naira Versta Nai
Broken Leg, get Marcus into the test-bed sniper chassis. Then get to the Hercules brawler. I hold them here.
The order snaps through the cockpit and out into the bay. Broken Leg jerks his head up, then barks a reply and yanks free from the spine panel.

Broken Leg
Understood. I am moving, now!
Marcus shifts in the rain line, rifle still lowered, and cuts toward the sniper chassis waiting under tarps and weld-light. The outer alarm keeps hammering from the Ash Bringer's rear spine.

Marcus Black eye
If that frame is live, I can make it bite.
Broken Leg reaches the Hercules bay and slams the access latch with one scarred hand, then disappears into the mech's open shell. Outside, the smoke splits around another impact mark, closer than before.
Naira keeps the Ash Bringer angled toward the breach, buying the seconds they need. The cost lands at once, fresh warning lights flickering across her console as the chassis drinks power to stay braced.
“i flick the safety switch off for my hellion back cannon aiming to melt every thing in the frontline and buy enough time for black eye and broken leg to get in the fight”
SUCCESS (Legendary Engineering, rolled -1)

Naira flips the Hellion back cannon live. The weapon wakes with a deep, disciplined thrum, its heat sinks blooming red behind her seat.

Naira Versta Nai
Line is open. I can pin them.
She rakes the frontline with a molten sweep, turning the rain at the doorway into steam and forcing the first wave back from the threshold.

Marcus Black eye
That is the lane. I am taking it.
Outside, Marcus braces behind the test-bed sniper chassis and fires through the haze. Inside the Hercules bay, Broken Leg slams the hatch seal and brings the brawler frame online, its status lights climbing one by one.

Broken Leg
Hercules is waking. Keep them off the door for ten more seconds.
The fresh impact mark near the blast door blackens under the heat wash, but the breach holds. The Burnt Egg stays sealed, for now, with hostile pressure pushed back into the smoke.
