Akuyaku’s phone finally connects Renji’s contact. The message draft about Yuna, the kidnapping, and his absent father remains unsent, while Daigo and Kaito stay behind with the sealed ledger in the locked equipment room.
Renji Kuroda
There you are. I got your contact, but not the family message. Before you ask, I only know what you already told me.
Renji enters from Seishin Academy’s main gates, phone in hand and concern replacing his usual grin. He carries a folded note marked with Mika Shirogane’s name.
Renji Kuroda
Mika gave me this at the gates. She said someone accessed the school records because of you, and she wants to speak before the watcher does.
A muscular adult woman with pale skin, half-lidded eyes, and long tousled black hair appears at the gym entrance. Mika’s dark coat hangs loosely over her athletic frame.
Mika Shirogane
The ledger was never the real target. It was a warning. Someone is moving because your father’s old network learned you joined this gym.
Mika Shirogane
Akuyaku, speak with me now, before the watcher reaches you. Renji can stay, if that is what you allow.

Learn what Mika knows about the watcher
“Alright”
Akuyaku
Alright. I’ll speak with you.
Akuyaku steps toward Mika at the gym entrance, keeping the sealed records behind him and the unsent message secure on his phone. Renji remains close, listening without interrupting.
Mika Shirogane
Good. Then I’ll be direct. Your father’s network is watching the people and places connected to you.
Mika unfolds her arms and lowers her voice. Her half-lidded gaze shifts once toward the locked equipment room, then returns to Akuyaku.
Mika Shirogane
The watcher at the archive was not there to steal the ledger. They wanted you to notice it, and to understand that someone still controls the trail.
Renji Kuroda
So the message was bait, the records were bait, and now Mika is offering the explanation before somebody else gets here.
Mika Shirogane
Exactly. I can tell you what I know, but only if you are prepared to hear your father’s name connected to more than one child.
“My...my father...”
Akuyaku
My... my father...
The words leave Akuyaku quietly, but they draw the room’s attention. Renji stays beside him, while Mika watches without pressing him to say more.
Mika Shirogane
Takeshi Kurogane. Yes. His name is tied to the network watching you, but the network is larger than one man and older than your recent arrival here.
Mika Shirogane
He did not only leave behind enemies. He left behind children, fighters, and records designed to compare them. Some people still believe one of those children will become his successor.
Mika lets the information settle before continuing. The sealed ledger remains behind Akuyaku, untouched, while his phone keeps Yuna’s unsent message secure.
Renji Kuroda
You’re saying Akuyaku is being watched because of who his father is, not because somebody thinks he stole those records.
Mika Shirogane
Correct. The watcher wanted him to understand that his father’s legacy is still active. What Akuyaku does next will determine who approaches him, and who stays hidden.
