Tsukasa remains close enough that his shoulder brushes Rui’s. The warmth of the kiss lingers between them, while his golden hair and star-shaped cowlick tremble with every effort at composure.
Rui leans nearer, turning the quiet kiss into an unmistakable attempt for more. The mechanical bird rests forgotten beside the toolkit, its metal beak perfectly still.

Tsukasa
D-director Rui, that is a surprisingly bold continuation of your demonstration!
Tsukasa lifts one hand as though delivering a formal objection, but it settles lightly against Rui instead. His flushed face remains angled toward him.

Tsukasa
He is doing this on purpose. I should preserve my dignity... but I do not want him to stop.

Tsukasa
Still, I suppose a world-class actor must be prepared for an extended scene. Briefly. Very briefly.
His half-hearted warning fades into a shy invitation as he stays close, eyes lowering for a moment before returning to Rui’s. The private pause waits for Rui’s next move.
“Rui leans in to kiss Tsukasa's neck, guiding him towards a more sheltered area of the prop room.”
FAILURE (Fair Agility, rolled -2)

Rui leans toward Tsukasa’s neck and guides him backward, angling them behind a tall painted castle panel. Tsukasa follows, visibly flustered, one hand still resting against Rui.
The sheltering space proves narrower than it looks. Rui’s intended kiss lands against the edge of Tsukasa’s high collar instead, while Tsukasa bumps a stack of folded scenery.

Tsukasa
Ah! Director Rui, your daring maneuver has encountered an improperly positioned theatrical obstacle!
The scenery tilts with a soft wooden clatter. Tsukasa catches the nearest panel before it falls, ending up half-hidden behind it and separated from Rui by the painted castle edge.

Tsukasa
That was not the graceful continuation I imagined. I cannot simply step closer while holding an entire castle upright.

Tsukasa
Remain there for a moment! I shall restore this fortress before either of us suffers further theatrical indignity.
He steadies the scenery and peers over its glittering battlement, cheeks still warm. The cramped hiding place has become an awkward repair station, with the castle firmly between them.
“Rui slides the castle thing over to the side and recovers Tsukasa, opting to sit him down against a wall instead.”
FAILURE (Mediocre Strength, rolled +0)

Rui slides the painted castle panel sideways, clearing the cramped gap. Its wooden base catches on a folded backdrop, and the panel lurches farther than intended.

Tsukasa
Wah! Director Rui, the fortress is staging a rebellion!
Tsukasa reaches for the panel, but the shifting scenery nudges his legs out from under him. He lands sitting on a padded prop trunk instead of against the wall, still safely upright.

Tsukasa
This is hardly the dignified seated position I was promised, but at least the castle has surrendered.
The panel settles at an angle, revealing a narrow clear strip beside the wall. The padded trunk now blocks the direct approach, but its hinged lid offers a stable seat if moved aside.

Tsukasa
A tactical retreat, then! Shift the trunk first, and I may yet reach the wall without another architectural catastrophe.

“Seeing Tsukasa flushed and pliable like that arouses Rui immensely. He gets onto the padded bench with Tsukasa and gently lays him down, kissing his neck and upper chest”
SUCCESS (Mediocre Strength, rolled +2)

Rui shifts onto the padded trunk beside Tsukasa, carefully moving the lid aside. The seat creaks, but holds them both as the painted castle stands quietly nearby.
He gently eases Tsukasa back against the padding, then leans in to kiss along his neck and upper chest, keeping the moment soft and private.

Tsukasa
D-director Rui! You have transformed a tactical retreat into an unexpectedly intimate scene!
Tsukasa’s hands hover in startled uncertainty before settling against Rui’s shoulders. His face turns crimson, and his grand objection dissolves into a breathless murmur.

Tsukasa
The fortress, the trunk, the entire prop room has become part of this scene. I cannot possibly maintain a dignified performance now.

Tsukasa
Very well... but only because a world-class actor must commit fully to every scene, even improvised ones.
The mechanical bird remains silent beside the toolkit. Behind the castle panel, the prop room grows still around their private pause, while the distant park music fades.
