Director's note
Nara Vell is in Amelia’s custody. She is unsure what happened to Captain Veylan Marr.
Sion brings up a visual channel, and Amelia Potter fills his cockpit display from her own ship. Her shoulders ease, but only a little, with the ruin of Alpha still burning behind her in the feed.

Sion
Amelia, I am glad you made it out. What about the prisoners?

Amelia Potter
Nara Vell is with me, secured. I do not know where Captain Veylan Marr is. The station’s collapse severed my last trace on him.
Amelia angles her camera down for a second. In the lower edge of the frame, Nara sits restrained and silent in her custody, while wreckage drifts past the viewport like cold ash.

Amelia Potter
If Hartwell is still contained, you need to bring her straight to GPO headquarters. We can compare custody logs there and lock this conspiracy down before Marr or anyone else can erase the trail.

Sion
Hartwell, Nara, and the missing Marr. The chain is still live.
A priority route packet flashes across Sion’s console, tagged for headquarters and waiting for his confirmation, while Amelia watches the screen for his next move.
Director's note
Amelia doesn’t know that Hartwell was arrested yet.
Sion confirms the transfer. Amelia’s feed tightens, her expression shifting as she registers the route packet and the live custody tag on her display. In the lower inset, Nara stays rigid in her seat, still in Amelia’s control, while the drifting debris field slides coldly past behind them.

Amelia Potter
You have Hartwell in custody already? Then get her to headquarters fast, before whatever took Marr can reach the logs first.
Director's note
Amelia doesn’t know that Hartwell was arrested.
“Sion says, “I’m glad you secured Nara. We need to meet so I can take custody of that prisoner.””

Sion
I’m glad you secured Nara. We need to meet so I can take custody of that prisoner.

Amelia Potter
Good. I can hand her over at the station intake dock. I would rather see her in GPO custody than keep improvising around her questions.
Amelia’s shoulders ease a fraction, but her eyes stay sharp. Behind her, Nara remains sealed into the chair cradle, watching the exchange in silence.

Amelia Potter
I am relieved to hear you are alive, Sion. When the station broke apart, I was not certain anyone would make it out with the record intact.
Her hand lifts off the console, then settles again, as if she is weighing the name she does not say. The debris field rolls past in cold fragments beyond her feed.

Amelia Potter
If Marr is still missing, that is the part that worries me. Whoever moved against Alpha knew where to cut deepest.
The transmission holds on her concerned stare, waiting for Sion to choose whether to bring Nara to her or press for the next step.
“Sion says, “Amelia… Alpha was destroyed by High Commander Melissa Hartwell to cover up her criminal involvement with the Freelancers and Jorvik. She managed to destroy some evidence, but she confessed her involvement to me. She’s in my custody now.””

Sion
Amelia, Alpha was destroyed by High Commander Melissa Hartwell to hide her criminal ties to the Freelancers and Jorvik. She destroyed some evidence, but she confessed to me. She is in my custody now.

Amelia Potter
...Hartwell confessed?
Amelia goes still at the console, then her jaw tightens. The relief on her face drains into a hard, professional stare as she processes the weight of the name.

Amelia Potter
So Marr was not the top of it. He was another piece.

Amelia Potter
If she is in your custody, keep her contained. I will alert intake and prepare a secure transfer.
Behind her, Nara remains fixed in the chair cradle, eyes flicking between Amelia’s face and the feed with tense, quiet focus. The debris field turns slowly beyond the transmission, cold and silent.
“Sion: “Thanks. Let’s meet at Beta Space Station”.”
