Beyond the lower grounds, three weatherworn marker stones divide the road. The western route bears a fresh violet radiance, thin as a thread but bright against the morning mist.

Eradan stops before the glowing stone and studies its unfamiliar sigil without touching it. The pulse answers Tsumiki’s presence, then fades beneath the grass.

The road lies open in both directions: the mapped way toward the first waystation, and the newly lit marker promising a faster, more dangerous route.
