Adventure of Mythra 1

The basement hums with server fans and cold blue light. Mythra steps in between stacked racks, and the frozen console glow catches the teen sidekick half-hidden near the terminal.

On the far side of the room, the rival hero leans against a server tower with easy confidence, like this outcome belongs to them. The sidekick flinches, torn between the console and Mythra.

The sidekick’s hand creeps toward the locked display, desperate to undo the freeze. Mythra cuts across the gap, and the room tightens around the three of them.

Mythra grabs the sidekick by the collar and shoves them hard toward the aisle, away from the console glow.

They stumble toward the exit as the rival hero lunges off the server tower, but Mythra is already moving, sword snapping up between them.

Metal flashes. The strike lands with a sharp clang against the rival hero’s guard, driving them back a step among the racks.

The sidekick catches the edge of the exit lane, wide-eyed and unsteady, while the frozen final prompt still burns on the console behind them.

Mythra steps in hard and short, taking the gap before the rival hero can reset. Her sword knocks their next line off line, and their footing gives under the pressure.

The rival hero’s guard collapses against the server rack with a metallic rattle. Their shoulders twist open, forced back and off balance.

The sidekick flinches by the exit lane, eyes flicking from Mythra to the frozen console prompt still glowing in the dim room.

The archive stays dark and tense, but the rival hero no longer has clean control of the field.

A thin red indicator blossoms on the frozen console prompt, not from the keyboard, but from the server wall behind it. A hidden panel splits open with a dry click, and a narrow backup drive cradle slides out on its own, lights waking in sequence.

The sidekick goes pale near the exit lane, staring at the exposed hardware, while the rack under the rival hero gives a sharp, warning shudder. The final purge timer on the screen stays frozen, but the system has clearly found another path.

Mythra drives the server rack sideways with a brutal shove, metal screaming on its rails. The lurch throws the Rival Hero off balance before they can touch the exposed cradle.

She follows through with a fast punch to the jaw. Their head snaps back, their knees buckle, and they fold against the rack instead of the hardware.

The red light over the backup cradle keeps blinking, but the immediate threat to the archive stops dead. The frozen final prompt still glows on the console below.

The Sidekick freezes in the doorway, staring at Mythra, then at the slumped rival, trapped between relief and fear.

The room goes tense and quiet except for the racks' angry hum, while the open cradle waits for someone to act.
