The wall gives way, and Darago is hurled into the dark tunnel with the others scrambling after him. Loose soil rains down as the cellar vanishes behind a jagged breach.

They land in a cramped passage of packed earth and old stone. The air is cold, wet, and sharp with ozone, and the black tunnel bends ahead like a throat.

The Stranger

So that is what hid under the cellar.

The Merchant

The Merchant

My ledger says this is no business of yours. Move aside.

The Half-Orc Outcast

The Half-Orc Outcast

Funny place for a lie to root itself. I want the truth, and I want it now.

Elowen

Elowen

Enough. No one strikes in my house, and no one claims the dark without answers.

Ahead, the tunnel widens around a rough stone arch. Something beyond it breathes a faint blue glow over the walls, calling everyone forward whether they trust it or not.

I say its surprising to have men such as you wasting time in this dump I mean I dont posibly have a good feture ahead of me but what keeps you here should not we all leave?

It is strange to see men like you wasting time in this hole. I do not know what waits ahead for me, but why stay here? Should we not all leave?

The stranger studies Darago for a long second, then gives a small, humorless breath. The blue light ahead shivers over his face, but he does not move toward it.

The Stranger

The Stranger

Leave? You think this place lets anyone leave cleanly? I came for answers, not a road out.

The Merchant

The Merchant

I came for what is owed. If the dark swallows the debt, I still have the ledger.

The Half-Orc Outcast

And I came because lies are buried better than bones. That chain anchor was no accident.

Elowen

Then speak plainly, all of you. This passage may stand, or it may fall, and I will not guess which while you trade riddles.

For a moment, no one advances. The stranger keeps his eyes on the glow, the merchant on his ledger, and the half-orc on the stone arch as dust trickles from the ceiling.

Then I guess we all should just leave its foolish to look for things that may not even be let alone risking your lives for them

Then I guess we should all leave. It is foolish to chase things that may not even let us be.

The Stranger

The Stranger

Foolish or not, I did not crawl into the dark for empty pockets. If you want out, find the way first.

The Merchant

The Merchant

And if the way out leads past what is owed, I keep my ledger and my claim.

The Half-Orc Outcast

The Half-Orc Outcast

The passage is the answer, not the trap. Look at the stonework, Darago, it was cut after the root-cellar was built.

The Stranger

The Stranger

His eyes flick from the arch to the walls, as if he has seen this kind of hidden work before.

Elowen

If there is another chamber beyond that arch, it may hold the cause of the collapse, or the proof of it.

The stranger’s mouth tightens, but his gaze shifts from the blue light to the broken seam in the tunnel wall. A narrow hand-cut gap shows dark earth and a strip of older stonework beneath the dust.

The Stranger

The Stranger

...That seam was not made by miners. It is a concealed door, or a sealed break. Either way, it is the first honest thing in this hole.

✓ Quest Accepted

Investigate the concealed door in the tunnel wall

I press my hands to the wall and say wait I get what s in there you all must leave its safer for you its my warning

Darago plants both palms against the seam. Dust loosens under his fingers, and the thin cut in the wall answers with a hollow chill.

Darago

Darago

Wait. I think I know what is in there. You all should leave. It is safer for you. It is my warning.

The stone yields a fraction under his touch, not opening, but shifting enough to trace the hidden edge. A sealed slab waits behind the newer lining.

The Stranger

The Stranger

Safer for us, or safer for you to be the only one standing near it?

The half-orc starts toward the gap, then stops when the dust above them rains harder. The cellar behind them groans through the collapse.

Elowen

Elowen

Enough. Darago has found a concealed door, and the tunnel is failing. We choose now, the passage, or the cellar.

The blue glow ahead flickers over the old stone, while loose grit slides from the seam at Darago’s hands.

✓ Quest Accepted

Secure the collapsing cellar

Quest Complete

Investigate the concealed door in the tunnel wall

You all must leave now I say as the dark energy forms around me and blasts everyone around me i say no leave my face is scared then I levitate and say I demand you to season my power for now as i am in no danger my master and then energy leaves my body and I fall down still breathing

Darago’s warning fractures into motion, dark power gathering in a ragged halo around him. The air tightens. Dust jumps off the stones as the others flinch back from the pulse.

Darago

Darago

You all must leave now. Leave me. I am not in danger.

The spell misfires sideways, not as a blast but as a shuddering spill of cold force that scrapes the floor and snaps the loose grit into a black stain. The tunnel answers with a deeper groan.

For one breath, Darago rises off the ground. Then the light gutters in on itself, and he drops hard to one knee, still breathing but drained.

The Stranger

The Stranger

That was meant for us?

Elowen

Elowen

No more spells. The slab is waking the tunnel, and so is he.

A hairline crack races through the hidden seam, and a slab behind the lining shifts with a stone-on-stone click. The wall is no longer only sealed, it is opening.
