Adventure of A'mor 1

The crossroads still smolder, but the worst of the chaos has passed. Gojo, Sukuna, Utahime, Geto, and Shoko are gone from view, leaving A'mor with the restaurant owner and the ruined street. The man hurries back through the dust, pale and breathless, his hands trembling around the crumpled bill and the cash.

He thrusts the bill against his chest, then gestures wildly back toward a side street lined with broken lanterns and shuttered doors.

The man's eyes flick to the empty crossroads, then return to A'mor, desperate and waiting. The ruined district feels suddenly smaller, as if the whole place has narrowed to a single bargain.

A'mor follows the mud without a word, the compass held low. The track is thin, but it clings to the alley stones, then cuts under a bent sign and toward the shuttered shop.

He slips past a split lantern, and the trail ends at a side door hanging open by one warped hinge. Inside, the floorboards are smeared with wet footprints and ash.

A'mor reaches the back room, where a lacquered family ledger lies half-hidden under a fallen tray. One corner is damp and dark with mud.

He picks it up, and the old pages fan open in his hand. The owner draws in a sharp breath, but A'mor's sleeve catches the tray and sends it clattering across the boards.
