RSV4 remains in the entrance lot, white fairings catching the streetlight, while Kalista points across the street toward a warmly lit diner. Stella stays seated behind him, and the park worker finishes locking the gate nearby.

Kalista Mercer
There. Food, warm lights, and no closing gate between us and dinner. I vote we celebrate surviving that entrance with a toast.

Stella;)
A toast sounds good, but we should keep it quick. The park is closed, and we should not leave RSV4 sitting here unattended.
Kalista glances back at the motorcycle, then toward the diner’s glowing windows. Her smile lingers, balanced between making the evening special and getting everyone moving before the lot is empty.

The Park Worker
You folks heading out now? I can give you another minute, but I do need to finish closing up.

Kalista Mercer
Absolutely. We are just deciding whether our victory toast happens inside or becomes diner coffee to go.
The worker gives them a tired, amused look and checks the lock once more. Across the street, the diner door opens, spilling warmth and the smell of grilled onions into the night.
