The Stranger at the Treeline

A mysterious traveler named Bran emerges from the forest to warn Elysia and Mara about the dangers of the pulsing crystalline shard. Mara remains on guard with her dagger drawn while the group faces an unknown threat lurking in the darkness of the woods. The glowing trail from the shard has shifted toward the treeline, signaling an encroaching danger. Elysia scans the dark treeline for the threat Bran warned her about, but finds nothing. The area remains quiet and empty despite the ominous warnings regarding the golden shard. Elysia attempts to de-escalate the tension with Bran, who reveals that the golden shard acts as a lure for dangerous creatures. Bran advises them to move the shard away from the sheep and keep it shielded, noting that the object originated from a place that should remain buried. Mara agrees to move immediately, and the group prepares to depart while continuing their conversation.
