Farther down the pier, a wiry middle-aged man in a gray jacket, with pale skin, receding sandy hair, and a narrow hooked nose runs with a money case, while a young woman in a yellow raincoat, with olive skin, a blunt black bob, and a silver nose ring slips between stacked crates.
