The group leaves the homeowner’s porch behind, candy bags swinging as Rosemary leads toward the next row of decorated houses. Yui suddenly skips ahead beside Sora.
Yui Nagashima
Attention, neighborhood! The legendary partnership of Yui Nagashima and her mysterious pumpkin associate begins tonight.
Yui presents Sora with an extravagant bow, then points toward the nearest porch as though unveiling a grand theater. Her glasses catch the streetlamp’s glow.
Yui Nagashima
Our strategy is simple: you provide the spooky glow, and I provide the professional commentary. Together, we are impossible to ignore.
Kalista Mercer
Try giving each porch a dramatic title. That one could be the Mansion of Suspiciously Ordinary Doormats.
Rosemary watches from a few steps back, protective without interrupting. Kalista keeps pace nearby, while Lady Death, Gugu Gaga, Serenity, Umbra, and Brent follow with the rest of the bags.
Yui Nagashima
No pressure, partner. You can perform, remain mysterious, or simply walk beside me while I do all the embarrassing work.

“I give Yui a spooky bow and point toward the nearest porch.”
SUCCESS (Superb Charm, rolled +2)
Sora answers Yui with a spooky bow, her orange Jack-o'-lantern dipping low, then points toward the nearest porch in a silent invitation to continue the performance.
Yui Nagashima
Behold, the mysterious pumpkin associate has accepted the assignment! Forward, brave audience of one porch.
Yui sweeps an arm toward the house and marches ahead with exaggerated solemnity. The porch responds with orange lights, paper ghosts, and a bowl waiting beside the door.
Kalista Mercer
That was perfect. I think the porch is already intimidated.
Kalista grins and falls in behind them, while Rosemary gestures for the others to keep together. Yui reaches the first step and turns back, waiting for her partner.
Yui Nagashima
Your cue, partner. Give them the pumpkin treatment, and I will handle the grand introduction.
The group gathers at the foot of the porch, candy bags rustling in the cool night air as the decorated doorway becomes their next small stage.
