Merchants pull aside as the crew crosses the docks. Private vessels rock against their lines, while trade shops spill advertisements across wet pavement and polished hull plating.

The Iron Hull waits beyond the pier, dark and broad beneath harbor lamps. Goldtooth boards first, then the crew follows, leaving the security detail and the surrendered intruder behind.

Across the Iron Hull’s systems, Alzafar’s exposed biometric signature flickers like a second navigation light. The offshore endpoint has extended its access from the saloon relay toward the vessel.

The harbor gates begin their opening cycle. Beyond them, dark water waits, while the Iron Hull’s consoles continue displaying the quiet, persistent flicker of the offshore connection.

Alzafar raises the Whistle of Wind and blows a soft, measured note. The harbor water smooths beneath the Iron Hull, reflecting the gate lights without a ripple.
