Lord Vaelen remains above the threshold, one hand braced against the stone. The charlatan priest stands beside him, guarded by the silent wounded survivors.

As Dere reaches the threshold, blue fire awakens along the pillars. The kneeling kings lift their carved faces, and a single figure appears in silver light.
