Adventure of yuki asahi 1

Lunch break floods the school courtyard with noise, sneakers squeaking, trays clattering, voices bouncing off brick and glass. Yuki Asahi steps into the open, scanning for a quiet corner. Then he freezes. A circle of boys blocks the path ahead, and something soft is passing hand to hand inside it.

Yuki’s plush toy flashes into view, lifted just out of reach, then snatched away again. The group laughs. One of them notices Yuki first, and the others follow his stare, their grins sharpening.

The tallest boy flips the plush toy once more, keeping it away from Yuki’s hands. The others spread a little wider, closing the circle without rushing, all swagger and easy confidence.

Yuki is close enough to see the toy clearly now, its ears bent from being tossed around. The courtyard seems to narrow around the four of them, lunch chatter thinning as nearby students glance over and keep walking.

The tallest boy catches the plush against his palm and holds it at shoulder height, just beyond Yuki’s reach. His smile fades into a dare, and the whole circle waits for what Yuki does next.

The request lands, but it only draws fresh grins. The Tall Bully turns the plush in his hand, not returning it, while Bully Two and Bully Three shift just enough to keep the circle closed.

The toy stays aloft, closer now to the Tall Bully's chest than to Yuki's reach. Nearby students keep moving, but a few glance over with the quick, embarrassed look of people pretending not to watch.

Yuki smiles, gentle and steady. The circle hesitates instead of laughing on top of him.

The Tall Bully rolls the plush in his palm, then huffs and extends it outward. The toy leaves his hand.

Yuki takes the plush toy back. The girl folds her arms, while the other two bully boys stay blocking the walkway, watching to see what he does next.
