The ground gives way under Tarran, and the Ashlands vanish in a roar of dust. She drops into a buried chamber of black stone and dragon-bone carvings, the air cold and wet with old earth.
The Cultist tumbles after her and skids hard across the floor. Emerald light wakes in the walls, beating like a slow heart. The pulse in Tarran's throat answers it at once.
Murals climb every wall, showing a tarrasque split open and shaped into a throne. Above it, a reborn dragon coils in painted gold, all teeth and fire and ceremony.

The Cultist
No... the chamber of return. It found us.
Tarran's hunger pulls at the light. The bones in the walls seem to hum, and the stone floor slicks beneath her weight as the chamber widens ahead into darkness.
The Cultist scrambles backward, staring up at Tarran and the glowing carvings, small and shaking in the huge, waking room.

Escape the chamber of return
“Dig out of the chamber of return”
SUCCESS (Legendary Strength, rolled +1)

Tarran drives both claws into the broken seam and heaves. Stone grinds loud in the chamber, then gives way in a slab that tears free under her weight.
Dust pours down as she rips a ragged opening wider, exposing packed earth and a pale shaft of air above. The emerald glow shivers along the new gap.

Tarran
The stone is soft where the wall cracks.
The Cultist freezes behind her, staring at the breach and then at the carved bones around it, as if the room itself has just spoken.

The Cultist
No, wait. That path is not meant for you.
Tarran tears away another chunk, and cold air rushes in from above, carrying wet soil and the faint stink of the Ashlands.
The opening is now large enough to crawl through, but the chamber answers with a deeper pulse from its walls, as if something beyond the stone notices the breach.
