Carera, Erza, and Boa stand beyond the barricade, with the sealed passage behind them and the broad descent stair descending into deeper torchlight.
Three dull knocks sound again, closer than before. A long scrape follows, and dust trembles from the barricade’s far side.
Carera
The fresh tracks lead toward a concealed doorway beside the stair.
Fresh boot marks overlap claw prints across the dust, ending at a narrow seam in the stone beside the stair’s first step.
Erza
Someone came through here recently. The boots suggest people, but the claws suggest they were not alone.
Boa Hancock
A hidden entrance beside a guarded passage. We should assume it was made to avoid notice, not welcome guests.
Behind them, the barricade creaks under another unseen pressure. Ahead, the concealed doorway remains shut while the descent stair waits in shadow.
