The cub descends through the sheltered valley, black demonic flame trailing across the snow. Below, a clustered human village gathers around wooden homes, a granary, and a stone shrine.

Watchfires flare as villagers spot his bear-wolf silhouette. A young adult woman bellkeeper in a brown wool coat seizes the rope inside the small stone tower.

Bells hammer the valley air. Villagers pour between the houses, abandoning carts, tools, and winter stores as the cub’s fire reaches the first fences.

Black flame rolls over the snow and climbs the wooden walls. Roofs catch in succession, smoke twisting beneath the valley’s darkening sky while frightened inhabitants flee uphill.

The granary blazes behind her, casting sparks over the fleeing crowd. The stone shrine remains half-lit through the smoke, its carved doorway revealing a pale symbol that begins to glow.

The ruins collapse inward. A surge of ancient warding power pours into the demonic flame, and his fire swells higher, denser, and hotter across his heavy bear-wolf body.

By dawn, the village is a field of smoking foundations and blackened snow. The cub stands amid the ruin, raw strength coursing through every claw as the valley falls silent.
