The Young Courtesan stiffens near the side screen. The Brothel Workers shrink back from the open doorway. Chen Kang holds his ground as Guo’s men spread out, cutting off the room’s easy exits.

One enforcer slides a hand to his weapon. The other angles toward Chen Kang without speaking, reading him as the first obstacle. The lantern light trembles across the lacquered pillars.

Using my suberb agility skills i dash at the enforcer angled at me delivering a quick spinning back kick to his liver
Chen Kang surges forward, turning Guo’s leftward pressure into a blind side. His spinning back kick snaps into the enforcer’s midsection, folding the masked man over and opening the lane beside the pillars.

The Elderly Man’s eyes flick to the gap, cold pity flashing across his face as the room’s balance breaks for a heartbeat.
