Shiro wakes beneath the black branches of the Dark Forest, her body unfamiliar beneath her. Purple skin, cyan hair, curved horns, and a heart-tipped tail mark her as a succubus.
Radiance pours between the trees. Before her stands a young adult woman with a calm face, long white robes, and golden hair drifting in light that casts no shadow.

Aurelia
Do not fear this form. I am Aurelia, goddess of light, and I have chosen you for a task that only you can fulfill.
A brilliant mark ignites across the back of Shiro’s hand. Its warmth spreads through her fingers, while the forest’s darkness seems to recoil from its glow.

Aurelia
Usurp the current demon king. Become the new demon queen, and use that throne to make peace with the humans.

Shiro
The mark burns like sunlight beneath my skin.
Something immense shifts beyond the nearest trunks. Wood groans, leaves shudder, and heavy steps draw closer through the undergrowth as Aurelia’s radiance, her warm brown skin and small gold circlet briefly visible, begins to fade.

“I stand up and attempt to ready myself for the approaching danger”
SUCCESS (Great Agility, rolled +0)

Shiro plants one hand against the damp earth and rises smoothly, her new tail sweeping behind her as she sets her feet beneath her.
The movement costs her a sharp scrape along one knee where bark and stone catch her skin. She steadies herself without falling, shoulders squared toward the groaning trees.

Shiro
My balance is unfamiliar, but it holds.
Shiro raises her hands, fingers spread and ready, while cyan hair slips across her face. Her horns frame the fading radiance behind her.
Between the black trunks, an immense adult beast, a hulking four-legged creature with charcoal fur matted by moss, a blunt horned head, and a scarred muzzle pushes through the undergrowth. Only its broad silhouette, branch-snagged hide, and two pale eyes are clear in the deep shade.
Aurelia’s golden light dwindles to a thin veil, leaving Shiro alone beneath the forest canopy as the creature’s next footfall shakes loose a rain of leaves.
“Since this is a monster in the dark forest, Is this creature passive to me since i'm a demon and this is demon territory?”
NO, AND WORSE (Unlikely, rolled 99)

The immense beast beyond the trees lowers its horned head instead of retreating. Its pale eyes fix on Shiro, and its broad shoulders tense beneath the mossy fur.

The Immense Beast Beyond the Trees
Grrrrrraaaah!
The roar rolls through the Dark Forest like thunder. Birds burst from the canopy, while loose branches shiver and rain leaves around Shiro.
Rather than recoil from the scent of a demon, the creature advances with sudden purpose. Its horned skull dips, and one heavy foreleg gouges a furrow through the wet soil.

Shiro
It is hunting me.
Then the forest answers its call. Thick black roots heave from the earth behind Shiro, twisting across the ground to close the clearest path away.
The immense beast beyond the trees steps fully into the dim light, blocking the opposite route. Its scarred muzzle wrinkles, and the next impact trembles through Shiro’s bones.
“Would i know how to cast magic?”
YES (Likely, rolled 46)
The knowledge is already there, buried beneath unfamiliar instincts. Shiro understands the shape of a spell, the gathering of power, and the motions required to release it, as naturally as breathing.

Shiro
I know how to cast magic.
No lesson unfolds before her, and no voice explains the principles. The understanding simply waits within this body, precise enough to distinguish a ward from a bolt, and control from raw force.

The Immense Beast Beyond the Trees
Rrraaaah!
The beast’s challenge shakes the branches again. Its pale eyes remain fixed on Shiro, but the pause that follows feels watchful rather than mindless, as though it waits to see what she can do.
The mark on Shiro’s hand stays unchanged and silent. Whatever power she possesses comes from the succubus body and the knowledge settled inside it, while roots and horns hold the forest’s narrow ground around her.
“I cast a blizzard spell to freeze this creature then if able, use the cover of the spell to hide.”
SUCCESS (Fair Arcana, rolled +4)

Shiro draws power through the shape her body remembers. Frost explodes from her outstretched hands, swallowing the clearing in a roaring spiral of snow and white wind.

Shiro
The cold answers faster than thought.
Ice plates over the immense beast beyond the trees, locking its legs beneath thick crystal and freezing its lowered head in place. Its pale eyes remain open, but its charge is ended.
The blizzard churns between the black trunks, erasing Shiro’s outline. She slips sideways into the storm and crouches behind a split cedar, snow veiling her horns and tail.
Wind screams across the clearing while the frozen creature searches only with its eyes. Shiro’s hiding place vanishes completely behind whirling snow and shadow.
The spell reveals an advantage she did not seek: beneath the ice, the beast’s weight has cracked open a narrow hollow in the roots, forming a dry passage deeper into the Dark Forest.
