Love Story of Ember & Cybil

After leaving Saturn, Ember crosses City University’s pleasant campus. Near a garden path, a muscular young woman with dark, loosely waved hair kneels among scattered notebooks, her bookish clothes carefully composed.

The nearby students continue toward the lecture buildings, laughing softly. The young woman gathers a notebook, squares its bent corner, and keeps her eyes lowered.

A breeze lifts several loose pages toward the flowerbeds. Cybil reaches after them, composure slipping for one visible second as the last laughter fades across campus.
