Purple Heart remains beside the stable maintenance platform, sword in hand and violet wings deployed. The secured emergency cores hum beneath locked magnetic clamps.
Arfoire’s damaged command frame retreats into the revealed tunnel, blind fire scattering sparks across the freight-spine entrance as evacuation klaxons strain overhead.
Green Heart
She is withdrawing beneath the junction. I will keep her from reaching the core conduits.
Green Heart holds the gantry with twin energy weapons trained on the tunnel mouth. Noire covers the access point below, black armor framed by flickering guide lights.
Noire
The western heavies are regrouping, but they will not pass me. Take the route if you are going below.
The battered defense mech projects a blue route through the air, mapping maintenance shafts beneath the junction toward Arfoire’s retreating signal.
the battered defense mech
Route confirmed. Evacuation systems remain operational for now. Pursuit may expose the junction to additional structural failure.

My friend White Heart was waiting for Arfoire and intercept the path ahead
“I pursue Arfoire through the concealed route”
SUCCESS (Superb Agility, rolled +1)
Purple Heart dives into the concealed maintenance route, violet wings compressing through the narrow shaft as the battered defense mech’s route projection guides her beneath Junction Seven.
Behind her, Green Heart advances onto the gantry and opens a disciplined crossfire with Noire, driving Arfoire’s rear escorts away from the evacuation conduits.
Green Heart
Go, Purple Heart. We will keep the junction secure while you end this pursuit.
Purple Heart clears the final service hatch and enters a vast freight chamber. Arfoire’s damaged frame stands at the far end, boxed in by a white combat frame.
White Heart, a tall young adult woman with short white hair, pale features, and massive white armor, lowers a heavy energy weapon across the passage.
White Heart
Arfoire. Your route ends here. Purple Heart has arrived, and you have nowhere left to run.
Arfoire’s crimson optics snap between the two frames. Purple Heart reaches the chamber, sword ready, with the concealed route secured behind her and her allies closing in.
“I attack Arfoire with White Heart”
SUCCESS (Fair Swordsmanship, rolled +1)
White Heart fires first, her heavy energy weapon pinning Arfoire’s frame against the freight chamber bulkhead. Purple Heart surges through the opening, violet wings flaring.
Her sword cuts across Arfoire’s exposed shoulder assembly, severing the damaged weapon mount and scattering bright sparks across the deck.
Arfoire
You think a single strike can end my operation?
Purple Heart follows with a precise thrust into the command frame’s central armor. The blade pierces the control housing, and Arfoire’s combat systems collapse into emergency shutdown.
White Heart
Direct hit. Her frame is disabled.
Green Heart
The junction remains secure. Hold her there while I confirm the conduit readings.
Arfoire’s crimson optics flicker once, then dim. Her immobilized frame settles against the bulkhead as the freight chamber falls quiet except for cooling servos and distant evacuation klaxons.
