Alejandrakazar reaches the city of spires as nine realm-banners stir above a sealed council chamber. Their colors ripple beneath a sky bruised with stormlight.

At the threshold waits a tall, broad-shouldered man in a midnight cloak, an adult elf with silver-brown skin, a narrow face, and a white raven-feather clasp. His hood shadows one eye.

You have come. Good. The council must begin now, or the fallen order will remain nothing but ash and memory.

Beyond him, eight realm delegates crowd the circular chamber, voices colliding around an empty ninth seat. Pale warding runes flicker along the doors and gutter like dying stars.

Realm Delegates

No ninth realm stands represented! We cannot bind the covenant without its voice!

The Cloaked Wizard

Listen to the wards. They are failing because we delay. Enter, elder wizard, and lend your wisdom before the chamber seals itself.

A deep chime rolls through the stone. One rune goes dark, and the sealed doors shudder while every argument inside falls abruptly silent.

Alejandrakazar

I have come as requested. And I see both friends and enemies at this table.

Alejandrakazar steps through the failing ward and claims the ninth seat. The stone accepts his weight as the chamber’s runes flare briefly around him.

Then the covenant has its missing voice. Let old rivalries wait while the realms still have a chance to endure.

The eight delegates settle, some with relief and others with guarded displeasure. Stormlight passes across their faces as the empty place becomes occupied.

Realm Delegates

The ninth seat is filled. The covenant may proceed.

One by one, the remaining warding runes kindle. The doors cease their shuddering, and the chamber draws a long breath before the council begins.

“To clarify, was i selected as a member of this council?”

Alejandrakazar

To clarify, was I selected as a member of this council?

The ninth seat answers with a low, resonant note. Its rune ignites beneath Alejandrakazar, confirming his place, but the empty realm-banner above it tears loose and falls dark.

The Cloaked Wizard

The Cloaked Wizard

Yes. You were selected as the ninth member. But no realm stands behind your seat, and every vote you cast may be challenged.

The delegates exchange wary looks. The chamber accepts Alejandrakazar's authority, yet the covenant's ninth voice now carries no banner, treasury, or army to enforce its word.

Realm Delegates

Then his membership is recognized, but his vote must be tested against the covenant's law.

The Cloaked Wizard

The Cloaked Wizard

The choice barely held. You have the seat, elder wizard, but you must persuade the realms without a realm of your own.

The fallen banner settles across the vacant dais. Around it, eight realm sigils burn steadily while the ninth rune shines alone beneath Alejandrakazar's chair.

Director's note

Alejandrakazar's eyes flare with power, as he takes int he magic of this covenant, pulling at it's threads through the weave with his full arcane might

“Very well. Then let us bind the convenant.. If I am not here as a representive of a realm, then I cannot say why I was chosen. But just as I served faithfully in the war to protect my nation and my family who lives there, so too shall I do my part to protect the people of the future.”

Alejandrakazar

Very well. Then let us bind the covenant. I cannot say why I was chosen, but I served faithfully in the war to protect my nation and family. So shall I do my part to protect the people of the future.

Alejandrakazar rises and takes the ninth seat. His eyes flare with power as his will enters the covenant, drawing its luminous threads through the chamber's deep weave.

The eight burning sigils bend toward the ninth rune. Their light knots together above the fallen banner, and the covenant's ancient seal closes with a sound like a mountain locking its gates.

The Cloaked Wizard

The Cloaked Wizard

It is bound. The ninth voice stands within the covenant, and its charge is protection, not dominion.

Realm Delegates

We bind our realms to the future generations, and recognize the ninth member's charge.

The oath settles into Alejandrakazar's seat, granting his vote full force. Yet the final clause remains veiled in archaic law, and he must spend precious council time checking its exact limits.
