Axel Guild hums with low voices, boots on stone, and the scratch of quills over ledgers. Morgan Uhl steps in from the street, the room already busy enough to feel watched.

At the long counter, Sena stands rigid in her blue uniform, a stack of papers held to her chest. She is waiting, exact and impatient, like a judge with a clock in hand.

Sena

Sena

Morgan Uhl. You are late, or I am early. Either way, the weekly report is due.

A few guild members keep to their work, heads down over forms and account books, pretending not to listen.

Kazuma

Kazuma

He is definitely here for the noble trouble again. I should stay quiet and see how this goes.

Kazuma lingers near a notice board, half-hidden behind a hanging ledger rack, eyes on Sena and Morgan Uhl both.

Sena

Sena

The nobles are circling the merchant permits again. If your GLA route keeps bypassing their taxes, I need the exact details, not guesses.

She taps the papers once, sharp and controlled, while the guild room falls just a little quieter around the two of them.

Sena

Sena

Start talking, Morgan Uhl. What happened after your people brought down that arch demon?

Simple. We cleared the Area of any Demonic Pleagues with Anthrax. Making sure it didn't spread.

The Prosecutor's Demands
Morgan Uhl

Morgan Uhl

We cleared the area of the demonic plague with anthrax. We made sure it did not spread.

Sena

Sena

Anthrax... You used a biological agent as a containment measure?

Her sternness falters into sharp scrutiny. She sets the papers down, slower now, and studies Morgan Uhl like the answer matters more than the charge.

Morgan Uhl

Morgan Uhl

She is actually listening.

Kazuma

Kazuma

That is not the explanation I wanted to hear, but it is somehow better than the alternatives.

Sena

Sena

If you sealed the spread, then the route was not merely evasive. It was deliberate quarantine. Where did you learn to think like that?

A nearby clerk pauses with a quill midair, then returns to the page while pretending not to listen. The room stays hushed, but the pressure changes from accusation to calculation.

Sena

Sena

Tell me everything you can remember, Morgan Uhl. I need the exact line between your convoy and everyone the plague could have touched.

Explain the GLA convoy route details to Sena

Several Groups of revolutionaries, 3 battilions of Maradur tanks and a few Ifrit tanks as back up if things went to shit Sena. We both know I don't do Suttle when it comes to the Demon lord.

The Prosecutor's Demands
Morgan Uhl

Morgan Uhl

Several groups of revolutionaries handled the perimeter, three battalions of Maradur tanks drove the line, and Ifrit tanks sat back as backup if things went bad. I do not do subtle when it comes to the Demon Lord.

Sena

Sena

That is not subtle at all. It is disciplined containment, with enough force to make a breach costly.

Sena’s pen moves again. The last edge in her posture eases, replaced by the careful focus of someone hearing a report she can actually file, not a confession she has to punish.

Kazuma

Kazuma

He says that like moving armored divisions is a normal conversation.

Sena

Sena

Revolutionaries, armor, reserve fuel, fallback guns... You planned for panic before it happened.

A clerk nearby glances up, catches Sena’s expression, and looks back down. The guild hall keeps its hush, but it no longer feels like an interrogation corner.

Sena

Sena

Good. Then I can separate rumor from logistics. Start with the first road your convoy took, and who you told to stay away from it.

The Attack was close to my base. So it wasn't far. But It wasn't close. I'm fearing that these Demon attacks are getting closer and closer to discover my base. Once the Devil King has it. He's sending one of his Generals to "Deal" with me. And we might be talking about one of his... Competent ones. And we aren't talking about Beldia, Vanir, Hans or Sylvia. Hell I don't think any of the defectors either like Wiz is. Where talking about someone who could easily wipe Both Axel and the GLA in one swing of a sword or a Strike from a Bow.

SUCCESS (Great Reasoning, rolled +1)

The Prosecutor's Demands

Morgan Uhl lays out the gap between distance and danger. The attack is far enough to seem random, close enough to be a warning. If the Devil King notices the base, he does not need a full army, only one competent general.

Morgan Uhl

Morgan Uhl

Too close to ignore. Not close enough to relax.

Sena stops writing for a beat, then writes faster. The words seem to matter more now, not less.

Sena

Sena

So this is not just a raid pattern. It is reconnaissance by pressure, testing where you can be reached.

Kazuma straightens by the notice board, eyes moving between Morgan and Sena as if a new math problem has landed in the room.

Kazuma

Kazuma

One general is bad. A competent one sounds much worse. You are saying Axel is not the real target, just the road map.

Sena’s pen pauses at that, and she folds the report edges into a tighter stack.

Sena

Sena

Then give me the route markers, the turns, and the names you kept out of sight. If a strike comes, I want the warning before it reaches the gate.

The Prosecutor's Demands

Morgan Uhl reaches to his side and brings the Tactical Command Console off his belt line, setting it on the counter between the papers and Sena’s ink-stained hand.

He turns it so she can see the marked routes and stored notes, the screen catching the guild light like a tiny signal lamp.

Sena

Sena

Data storage. Portable, organized, and far more exact than a memory report.

Sena

Sena

You kept all of this in one device? Then hand me the route list, the stops, and every diversion point you recorded.

Kazuma leans in from the notice board, his eyes narrowing at the console as the room grows quieter around the counter.

Kazuma

Kazuma

So that is the whole map in one box. Great. That makes it easier to copy, or steal, depending on who gets ideas.

Sena slides her pen aside and takes the console with careful hands, already comparing its contents against the sketch on the paper.

Sena

Sena

The route markers match. One junction is new to the report, and it explains why your convoy stayed invisible for so long.
