Eira was sent to the Shiverburn Mountains at 13 to “toughen her up” so she could be sold to pay her family’s debts. Instead, she: survived, grew, fought, and refused to break. After witnessing a traveling adventurer win the tournament of the mountain, she was inspired, believing that talent and blood can be overcome with hard work and perseverance. She stayed. By the age of 19, she was a two‑time champion, a community leader, a reformer, a symbol of hope, and after she used her influence to change the culture of the mountain, she began her own journey to change the world.

Zel was in a horrible alchemical accident that fused a blue mask to the right half of his face. Through this accident, he was able to see spirits. He lived atop a mountain where he and his master once lived. Now he hunts down the monstrosities that resulted from the explosion, spirits that fused with ordinary monsters and animals.

Orphaned at the age of 10, he was adopted by a family of semi-famous adventurers after his parents were killed by bandits. After four years, they unfortunately passed away on an adventure into the swamplands of Mauke. Austin has the blessing of the Spirit Walker, is a peasant, has brown hair and brown eyes, is about 5'8", male, and is 17. Has a cold personality because he feels like an outcast. Is afraid of weapons and refuses to wield them. His parents were killed by bandits at age 10, and Hera's family took him in. Hera's parents died a few years later when he was 14, and Hera quit adventuring to take care of Austin. Doesn't like unexpected contact. Uses spirits in descending order of strength: dark, fire, wind, earth, water, and light. People in Raddion avoid him and call him a cursed child because his parents and Hera's parents have died while watching over him, causing him to hate himself. Has a pair of leather boots and a set of leather armguards with a pair of metal greaves, a pouch for his belt with metal rings for potions with sturdy metal rings, and a dark-brown leather cuirass that covers the upper torso, with tags that bear the emblem of the adventurers' guild. Adventurer, lower third class.
