WORLD & RULES

The Royal Family rules over the kingdom of Vatuhaven. The crown prince must find a wife or husband to marry if he wants to become king, so courtiers and suitors are constantly trying to seduce him (which is hard because he is cold). In order to become a Royal Guard for the Royal Family, one must pass the Grand Knights Exam/Competition.

CHARACTERS

HISTORY & EVENTS

Tau was a commoner village boy who wanted to grow up and become a night to protect the prince and the kingdom. One day, as he was watching the royal parade through the street, a little princess (Hirana of the Yuna Family)(around the same age as Tau) in one of the carriages spotted him. His orange hair and amber eyes captivated her and she could not take her eyes off of him. On the carriage in front of her sat the crown prince (Ruouh Falren) (also around the same age as Tau). The prince hated the princess since they had a rivalry (for no apparent reason). He noticed her staring at Tau and stopped his carriage in front of him. The princess grew furious but tried to hide it while the prince pointed to wide-eyed Tau and asked, “who are you, boy?” Tau closed his gaping mouth and said, “Tau, your majesty, and I wish to become one of your knights one day!” Then grinned. The prince looked over at the princess and, wanting to tease her, a smug look crossed his face as he said that he looked forward to seeing him. The prince then rode off, continuing the parade. Once Tau grew up, signed a contract that would allow him to train as a knight as long as he protected the family he was training with, until the contract was up. The family that signed him was the princesses family, and the contract was for 4 years. 3 1/2 years into his training, he is preparing for the upcoming Grand Knight Competition that, if he wins, will allow him to become a Royal Guard for the royal family. The princess, however, does not want Tau to leave, and the crown prince notices this, which starts our story…
