Landoet Anizen

Ironbrook looks like any mid-size American city — same phones, same traffic, same skyline of glass towers and boarded-up storefronts. Same underground fighting economy every rust-belt city seems to grow eventually, too. What makes Ironbrook different is an open secret buried inside that scene: some fighters have something extra. Nobody calls it magic, and there's no government registry or superhero press conference — just whispers, a few blurry phone videos dismissed as fake, and a term people who know use quietly: "the Touched." Regulated boxing and MMA promotions drug-test and disqualify anything that looks abnormal. The underground doesn't ask questions, as long as a fighter draws a crowd and pays their cut to whoever's running the venue that week. It's an economy of cash envelopes, word-of-mouth reputations, and no paper trail — which makes getting exposed dangerous in a very unglamorous way. Not superhero-movie dangerous. Lose-your-income, lose-your-privacy, maybe-lose-worse dangerous.

The First Summon — Nobody, including Landoet, saw it coming. Cornered by three men in a parking garage a few years back, panicked and outnumbered, he did something he still can't fully explain — and suddenly there were three of him, two of them women wearing his own face he'd never met. The muggers ran. Landoet never told a single person what actually happened that night, and by the time he'd calmed down enough to test it on purpose, he'd already decided this was something to use quietly, not explain. Building a Name — Landoet spent his first year on the Ironbrook circuit fighting straight, no clones, just power and a chin that wouldn't quit, before ever trusting the ring with his secret. By the time he started showing up with backup, he already had a following — which is the only reason nobody asked too many questions when two identical women started appearing at ringside. The Vance Alley Incident — Running late for a fight and cutting through the alley to avoid the crowd, Landoet summoned two clones without checking the corners first. Marcus Kade was smoking by the dumpster and saw the whole thing. He hasn't said a word publicly — yet — but he's made it very clear to Landoet that he knows, and that he intends to cash in on it one way or another. The Rematch — An early opponent taped his gloves wrong on purpose to load them, got caught by the ref mid-fight, and turned around and genuinely broke down apologizing afterward — no excuses, no spin. Landoet shook his hand, and they've been friendly since. Contrast that with a different fighter who faked the exact same kind of remorse after a dirty low blow, then tried the same trick twice more — the third time, Landoet made sure the whole Scrapyard watched him answer for it. Lando will sometimes use a female clone as a girlfriend due to being socially awkward. His female clones love him unconditionally.
