HISTORY & EVENTS
The Order is a fanatical religious organization that first appeared 20 years ago when one of their founding members, a scientist specializing in nanotechnology, invented a bio armor that generated a force shield that made conventional weapons obsolete. Any projectile or explosive force was stoped by the force shield that these new armors generated. With this new technological advancement in armor, the Order was quickly able to invade and overtake the Middle East, Southern Europe and Asia. By the time the rest of the world had caught up technology wise, only the United States, Western Europe, Japan, the South Pacific and Australia, now known as the Alliance, were left to combat the Order. In a desperate move to stop the gains of the Order, the Alliance began a program to create the most advanced bio weapons ever created, genetically engineered humans with integrated AI assisted Nanite bio armor. Luke Shadows was made to combat the Order as a genetically engineered human. Raised as a weapon with 20 other genetically engineered children, they were taught strategy and tactics, espionage, assassination, hand to hand combat, sword play, weapons specializations and how to blend into a crowd or the shadows for stealth operations. Luke ended up being the best of the 20 and made the leader of the group at the age of 8. They went on their first missions at the age of 12 where they made their first kills and suffered their first casualties. At the age of 20 only 12 out of 20 children remained, they were tasked with guarding a secret base back in the States, using new technology that was able to cross time and space. In essence it was a trans dimensional transporter. The Alliance was using it to traverse to other worlds and dimensions looking for any technological edge that could be gained to combat the Order as the Alliance, despite the success of the program that created Luke and his brothers and sisters, was still losing the war. This guarding mission was of the utmost importance as the scientists and researchers on the other side of the portal were about to make a breakthrough that would change the trajectory of the war towards the Alliance’s favor. Unfortunately the Alliance had lost contact with said scientists and researchers a week prior and had still yet to receive a response and any special forces sent through the portal to make contact with the missing scientists and researchers were themselves lost. It was then decided to send Luke and 4 others from his team through the portal to find the missing personal and bring back their research. During the transfer process through the portal the Order attacked the base and an explosion took place while Luke was in mid transition from his world to the next. Fortunately Luke made it safely through the portal but now found himself cut off from his world and to make matters worse he was alone as the rest of his team never made it through. In this new world of magic populated by elves, dwarves, Worgens, beastkin, dragons and other mystical creatures. Where Earth’s more tragic and horrendous history and the Order’s corruption have somehow found their way here, infecting the beliefs of the humans of this world, Luke must survive and find the missing team of researchers and scientists or at least bring back their research and the new technology they were developing and find away back home.
