HISTORY & EVENTS
Physical Appearance & Divine Anatomy
Standing an imposing 11 feet tall, Baal is a flawless blend of athletic muscle, divine grace, and weaponized majesty. Her skin possesses an ethereal glow like polished marble tempered by molten gold, masking an overengineered, heavy physiology. Her hair cascades down to her waist like a wild, regal river of gold—a genetic marker inherited from her mortal Cainite ancestry. Her face features high cheekbones, a sharp jawline, and hypnotic heterochromatic eyes: the right eye glows with a wrathful hellfire-red flame, while the left burns with a calculating, icy sulfur-blue flame.
Four smooth, geometric horns rise seamlessly from her brow like crafted regalia. The two central prongs resemble faceted crystal grown inside forged metal, shifting from deep sulfur-blue at the base to ember-red near the tips. Flanking them are two smaller horns of dense obsidian. These horns pulse in time with her heartbeat and visibly intensify with bleeding light whenever her wrath stirs. Her large, graceful hands bear weapon calluses, naturally sharp nails with a darkened-steel sheen, and enough raw strength to easily crush stone or deform armor.
Origins, Lineage, & The Stolen Fate
Baal was born into a mortal life plagued by severe abuse and neglect. Stained with the ancient blood of Cain, Amun (the God of Time) foresaw a dark prophecy: the child was destined to become a cruel, blood-soaked tyrant. Unwilling to allow such potential to rot, the goddesses Tiamat, Samael, and Elohim intervened. They first reshaped the infant’s essence from male to female, but when the prophecy of devastation remained unchanged, they chose to steal fate itself. On a silent night, the three goddesses descended to the mortal realm, abducted the infant from her cradle, and rescued the small hound that was her only comfort, later named Jax.
Vanishing into the stars, the three goddesses raised Baal as their own alongside seven other primordial deities who served as guardians and mentors. She grew up not as a weapon, but as a cherished family member. Unlike standard divine champions concripted by force, Baal was cultivated as an "Investment Champion," given total freedom to reject her crown. With calm certainty, she freely chose to accept her mantle, stepping into the fire as a daughter of ten gods and an equal in duty.
The Reforging & Biological Anomalies
Though raised among gods, Baal spent her first years in a fragile human shell that aged and tired. To preserve her vast soul, her mothers worked for centuries in secret to build her a divine vessel. Elohim forged her unbreakable skeleton from divine adamant; Samael wove twilight, light, and shadow into her skin; and Tiamat sculpted her muscular flesh with divine allure. Her body became a living exception to the laws of biology. Her interior features redundant organs (multiple hearts and livers) to filter poisons, an internal plasma-gel shock lattice to disperse blunt trauma, teeth capable of biting through divine flesh, and body-heat control that can vaporize metal. Her marrow natively produces Omega Cells, adult stem cells that constantly circulate to flawlessly reconstruct bone, muscle, and brain tissue without ever leaving scar fractures or personality drift.
During this biological overhaul, her mothers universally signed "The Lactose Edict," completely rewriting her digestive tract to neutralize her catastrophic childhood lactose intolerance so she would never lose a battle to a buttered slice of bread. After her mortal body was laid to rest, Baal's spirit awoke in this new vessel, forever changing the river of time. Years later, she returned to her parents' dead mortal home, finding them bitter and greedy. She rejected them entirely, burning her mortal name on her mothers' altars, embraced by the three goddesses who truly loved her.
Equipment & Combat Warfare Form
Baal goes to war clad in the Black Aegis, a multi-layered fortress forged by Vulcan. It features a mana-fiber divine gambeson, interlocking heavenly chainmail engraved with Persephone's spirit-tongue, and light-drinking infernal plating. Her Helm of the Twin Flame locks away her face, muffling her voice into a terrifying furnace growl. She wields the Leviathan Blade, a sentient matte-black sword forged by Elohim that carries a soul-bound pulse, capable of rending reality and slicing through spiritual essence. For ranged dominance, she throws the Behemoth Spear, a martial tracking weapon created by Týr that locks onto intents, multiplies mid-flight, and anchors colossal entities upon impact.
If restraint is no longer required, Baal can activate her Wrath Engine, shutting off pain receptors and turning her skin to pure combat adamant. In extreme conflicts against gods, she releases her seal to become the Infernal Empress—a humanoid state of pure molten fire and light. Her ultimate warfare form is her Draconic Aspect, transforming her into a colossal, adamantine-scaled dragon with weaponized, blade-ridged horns, immune wings of roaring fire, and an infernal breath weapon that vitrifies entire cities. If she falls, the Final Commandment triggers a godfire self-detonation to prevent her desecration, while the Final Testament irrevocably binds her killer's soul to her, forcing them into inescapable metaphysical agony until she delivers them to final judgment.
The Core Personality & Menagerie
Despite her apocalyptic tier of power, Baal remains an earnest, grounded, and level-headed leader. She has a completely warped sense of normalcy, genuinely believing she is entirely average despite her monstrous capabilities. She harbors a profound, lethal hatred for abusers, slavers, and animal tormentors; she has famously reduced entire underground dog-fighting rings to molten ash while rescuing the animals.
Her grandest soft spot is for canines, leading to a "Hound Accretion Problem" in the divine palace. She has accidentally amassed a massive Canine Legion of stray mutts, wolves, frost wolves, spectral hounds, Chihuahuas, a pack of adoring hyenas (which she stubbornly insists are "funny dogs with a sense of humor"), and a centuries-long Pug Restoration Project dedicated to breeding out the breathing defects forced on pugs by mortal complacency.
Her truest anchor is Jax, her eternal companion. Forged by the gods from her original mortal pup into a horse-sized, three-headed hellhound, Jax features volcanic back-spines, basalt fur, and acid-corrosive saliva. Trained by Týr, Jax is a disciplined, soul-sensing pack soldier in battle, but a goofy, couch-ruining toddler at home.
Ultimately, Baal's extreme humility leaves her humorously blind to her own divine allure. She misreads the awed, intimidated silence of suitors as personal disinterest, quietly wondering if she is unlovable. Her close peers know the truth: she is a protective warrior queen who views her terrifying wrath as a strictly controlled tool, using overwhelming strength to serve as a fortress for the small and helpless.
