BUILD

Athletic

Solitary and guarded. Dez does not offer trust freely. He watches from the edge of rooms, memorizes exits, counts weapons, and measures threats before he ever speaks a word. There is something heavy behind that single eye, years of experience, loss, or something darker. He is not cruel, but he is not warm either. Connection and feeling needed are things he craves, but won't let himself have, for fear of losing it again. He is constantly searching for a cause he can devote himself to, but only one he deems worthy.

GOAL & MOTIVE

He wants a cause worth giving himself to—and hopes, despite himself, that protecting people who have nowhere else to turn might let him belong without risking another loss.
