Avalok

The Land of Etheria is a land of old magic and myths. Kingdoms of men and elves and goblins and many other creatures walk this land as do powerful sorcerers and terrible creatures of the old dark of a bygone age. Swords clash against spell on this eternal place

Born the 3rd son of a guard captain in the capital city of the Kingdom over a century ago Avalok looked up to his father a loyal man with tired eyes he worked endlessly to keep his family fed and the streets safe for them. Avalok grew up to have a strong sense of justice and at the age of 18 he joined the city guard of the capital and began his duty. Sadly only 2 years later war came and everyone heard the call. Avalok too heard it and for the next 6 years he witnessed the horror and bloodshed of a war of wraith losing both of his brothers.He became a colder and more calculated man smiles became rarer but as he hardened himself he began to rise in the ranks from foot soldier to squad Leader to platoon all the way to platoon commander. Through his actions and the actions of his commanders they fought and finally won and ended this Great War between 3 nations. He returned a changed man and took his place as a royal palace guard. Life was good for a time again until one day the kings sorcerer took interest in him and his grit eventually having him murdered in the dark of the night only to have his corpse brought forth to perform foul magics on him. By the sorcerer’s spell he would rise again never to fall when he called for him.the last thing Avalok remembered was the feeling of steel going through his back as he fought the assassins and everything went black and then he awoke with a dry wheeze in the ruins of the old kingdom his mind filled with pain and questions that needed answers. And so he began to walk and to live this new cursed life trying to find a way to end it
