A down and out youth who grew up on the wrong side of the tracks. Having lived a life of abject poverty, Dax had to cobble together his tech from scavenged scraps and second-hand hardware. Despite this, he has been able to teach himself how to slice and hack all manner of digital networks. He now hires his services out to those who need a tech like himself to do all sorts of odd jobs that mostly exist in grey area when it comes to the law.

GOAL & MOTIVE

Dax is trying to help his younger sister Olexa (his only remaining family member) and his neighbours in the slums get a better quality of life and rise out of poverty.

WORLD & RULES

Memory can be bought and sold, but a sold memory is gone forever. Mega corporations have replaced governments in a world where natural resources are stretched thin. There is a huge gap between the haves and the have nots of society. Many escape into a digital realm to escape the hardships of their arduous lives. Tone: melancholy and political.

LOCATIONS

HISTORY & EVENTS

Dax and Javen grew up together in the slums. They were friends for many years but grew apart when Javen fell in with a local street gang known as the Vultures. While Dax is no angel, he never resorted to petty theft, racketeering, drug dealing and other violent crimes like the Vultures. He tried to get Javen to leave the gang but he refused. Ever since, Dax and Javen have found themselves on opposing sides in local street conflicts and slum politics.
