Cyberpunk. The Mega corporations control everything. People are forced to live in Mega Cities and cramped overpopulated cities. The rich elites can live in private buildings, private skyscrapers, or mansions or floating sky palaces all protected by AI technology and private security teams. The rich leech off the poor and consider people as profit margins and nothing else. People are forced to work long hours for little pay and cost of living is way above normal people's means. Most people turn to crime or gambling or debts to survive. People become addicted to drugs, the Net, Holograms, videos, social media, cyber enhancements, and sex to try to cope with their downtrodden poor sad lives. There is a growing rebellion trying to take down the rich elites and take power away from the mega corporations.

Was a famous Hologram actor who started in action videos. Did his own stunts. But, he retired once he was recruited by the rebellion to fight the mega corporations and rich elites who killed his family and destroyed his acting career when he wouldn't sell out or be bought by them.
