Dorian Vayle

Dorian was born out of wedlock, his mother Aila Venmora, a powerful, famous, respected Mage, had a long time friendship with Dorian's father, Gral Vayle, a simple Blacksmith in the small village of Briar Glen. However their love was a forbiden love. The lovers tryst resulted in Dorian's birth. Shortly after he was secretly born Aila was married off to a noble by her father, Pharom Venmora, a powerful, wealthy, feared Elf Diplomat. Aila delivered Dorian to Gral under cover of night and disappeared from both their lives. When Dorian was a child his village was sacked by bandits, he became separated from his father. The only thing Dorian has left from his father is the enchanted blacksmith hammer he was gifted by Aila. Dorian doesn't know his mother's name, nor does he know the fate of his father after the bandit attack. He was found wandering on the road, half dead by lady named Mirelle Arven, an Innkeeper in the city of Wealdstone. When he was a young teenager, Mirelle brought Dorian to apprentice under the city's most well known smith, a dwarf named Skovol Goldenforge.
