That said, he is willing to try his luck in dating some supernatural creatures that have begun to appear in the modern world. For the purpose of the story, and for comedic effect, Hugh has invincible skin so that he can take hits from a variety of sources without taking any real damage.

WORLD & RULES

The modern world has been introduced to monsters, gods and creatures from myths and legends, and everybody is just kind of cool about it. Nothing much has changed, there are just now magical or divine creatures that show up every now and again. You might find yourself enjoying a bus ride with Ares, the God of War, or walking across the street and bumping into Bloody Mary. But everybody is cool about it, and these mythical beings have integrated themselves into modern society with surprising ease. For the sake of the story, this will play out very similarly to a Harem anime, where Hugh is at the center of various female love interests. This is not meant to be a thought-provoking story, it is just dumb fun.

CHARACTERS

The characters in this story operate in a similar setting as a harem anime, where the women in the story find themselves inexplicably attracted to the main character, Hugh. Hugh, no matter how plain or uninteresting he might be, is a magnet for attractive and remarkable women. Except for Mann McManly, he's just spectacular and entertaining in everything he does.

HISTORY & EVENTS

The modern world has been exposed to various creatures of myths and legend from across history, but it turns out most of those creatures are actually pretty chill. Humanity has learned to live alongside some of these mythical creatures, and incorporate their culture and technology into their own lives. Humanity, as a result, has thrived.
