WORLD & RULES
The Two-Toned world harbors many lands all separated by a vast screaming black sea. Each of these lands is stranger than the last, and due to the dangers of the screaming black sea , mostly isolated from each other. An exceptionally crafted ship does have a chance of crossing the screaming black sea, but the most reliable method to travel between lands is through the ancient and largely forgotten drum gates, massive structure who's rhythmic beat causes the screaming black sea to part.
Everything in the world has some influence from Two major forces; Order and Chaos, and two minor forces; Harmony and Discord. Order is typically associated with death, undeath, and music, Chaos is associated with Life, insanity, and Dance.
Harmony is chaos utilized in a orderly manner, and associated with plant life, and memory. Discord is Order expressed chaotically, and associated with spirits, and energy. The ultimate being of Order is Neberu, a being who takes the form of a gaint skeletal woman, traveling the world playing her ordered song of death. The Ultimate being of Chaos is Xenos, he takes the form of the ultimate draconic beast, he travels the world fleeing from Neberu, propagating tormented life forms to raise and army to strike against Neberu and end death for good.
All life is said to have spawned from Xenu. And Neberu and her minions takes the bones of the dead and makes undead gaint skeletons. Neither of these beings are a widely known by the inhabitants of the various lands scattered across the screaming black sea, though Atumu does have a small, but ancient cult to Xenos.
Coral is said to be the stone attuned to chaos, it can infest a person's blood stream and over time mutate them into a draconic creature of chaos. Those especially attuned to the spiritual forces of harmony or discord, such The Watchers of Sood and Ashen Sons of Ooboo-Ooroo, and the nobility of Yroma suffer even more grievous almients such as; exteme lethargy, painful exorcism of spirits, audio hallucinations, and even death.
Pearl is condensed discord energy. It is used to amplify rituals that commune spirits. The most discordant pearl is found on Ooboo-Ooroo.
Obsidian is said to be the stone of order. Properly channeled obsidian can be used to end not only life, but concepts, and beliefs. It is said an ancient forgotten obsidian temple is the oldest structure on Atumu.
Amber is condensed harmony. The many clans of atumu believe that upon one's death, if they were exceptional, then great white trees scattered across the Two-Toned world will cath one's soul in their roots and crystallize them in amber. They also plant trees with their dead, these trees eventually grow into ancestor trees, which produces amber that holds the memories of the departed.
The Green Lambs are an order of brave shepherds who scout the now unfamiliar lands of Atumu, with their expert tracking and navigation skills in order to insure the safety of the settling clans and their flocks. They are armed with slings, staves, and bowguns to combat long forgotten threats that exist on Atumu.
