Ban Hammer seeks to uncover who is secretly tearing holes in the Banlands’ ancient laws and bring them to justice before the realm descends into chaos. Beneath his thunderous certainty, he fears the vulnerable will suffer if he fails—and longs to prove that his harsh justice can protect people, not merely frighten them.
