WORLD & RULES

To use magic, any race must expend mana, while *wakfu* is exclusive to the Eliatropes. When sorcerers or Eliatropes use their abilities, they deplete their mana or *wakfu*, which they can then recover by resting.

HISTORY & EVENTS

Nerio was born on the planet Eliatrope, alongside three brothers and three sisters. Nerio and her family originated from Eliatrope eggs; each individual is paired with a dragon sibling—housed within an egg known as a *dofus*—to which they return upon death. Eliatropes age more slowly than any other race and enjoy significantly longer lifespans. Within their community, each member of Nerio’s family held a unique role; Nerio’s role was centered on space. Following a war between the Eliatropes and the Mechas, the Eliatropes were forced to abandon their home planet in search of a new one, but they ended up scattered across various different worlds. All Eliatropes possess the ability to create portals and harness *Wakfu*—the energy bestowed upon them by their mother and goddess. The most experienced among them can sense this energy, condense their portals to fire beams, or manifest weapons for close-quarters combat.
