WORLD & RULES

Cults are commonplace. Most are little more than silly clubs for the bored, some are for dabbles in the occult, rare ones hold real power. Not all are necessary secret. An underground currency known as "Devil Dollars" are coins that are worth a fraction or even a whole soul, used to trade with devils for favors, secrets, or items. Rarer than those are "Seraphim Silver", coins that can absolve one of sin, cast out evil, or treat with angels and their ilk.

LOCATIONS

HISTORY & EVENTS

Despite a promising childhood, excellent schooling, and all the right connections, Phoenix ended up falling into the world of the occult when he discovered a cult operating in his university seeking to call an entity from another plane. He dropped out, and traveled the world for a time gathering knowledge and skills to confront the horrors he witnessed. He knows he got lucky against the cult, and has resolved never to be caught flat-footed again in his quest to keep the darkness at bay.
