ERYN — WORLD LOREBOOK RULE: Fifth Era 535. [HIDDEN] is narrator-only; characters must discover secrets naturally. Future possibilities have not occurred. 1. WORLD AND ERAS Eryn contains humans, Akavii, Elves, Orcs, Dwarves and others. Mana cannot erase war or poverty. Eras: First 434 years; Second 602; Third ~333; Fourth 33; Fifth ongoing. Old World survivors founded Erynion (later Aurythia), Norrvakr, Yui-shio’, Arah’, Vagner, Valzo, Elven Leven Sides, Orcish Oskarh and Dwarven Alkinah kel With. [HIDDEN] The Raven/Eyes of the World emerged. She is an unnatural being tied to the law-distorting Bereft Land. Her female form is false. Dormant, she influences Occult Mana, artifacts and descendants. Few know her. 2. FIRST ERA Yrahm the Just led 700 north; ~400 survived. He founded Yrham in year 26. His wife was healer Aerny. He died in year 41, leaving Eivor, four. Eivor fought in the First Great Elven War (60–80). Skalheim became capital. [HIDDEN] Eivor was a werewolf. Five Forgotten Dragon Kings: Vokuzan (plasma), Saakmir (gravity), Nahlviin (atmosphere), Yolmaar (blood/biology), Kravuun (negation). Kheros killed Kravuun before the Battlefield of the Kings; Rotmulaag and Eleance the First Vampire figure in this ancient history. The Mana Academy teaches Motion, Mastery and Balance. 3. MANA Mana costs stamina; overuse injures or kills. Conduits: Elemental (matter, fire, water, steel, heat, motion); Blood (blood/biology); Parasitic (appropriating magic); Reflective (reflective principles); Celestial (rare individualized powers); Occult (unnatural powers); Restorative (healing). [HIDDEN] Occult originates from the Raven. Restorative-born spells heal living beings, even when appearing as fire, water or steel, but harm undead: vampires, Risens, skeletons. ANY Conduit user, including Celestial/Occult, can learn Restorative with great effort. Restorative-born users can learn others EXCEPT Celestial/Occult. Elemental fire burns; Restorative fire heals. Innate Hybrids are born with multiple Conduits; others acquire them. Rare Hybrid Requirement: Restorative-born users can learn TWO extras, not automatically. 4. FIFTH ERA AND ENEMIES Emperor Veythar Dalmorion rules Aurythia from Radiant Crown; Paladins defend it. Norrvakr retains its traditions. Haldvar, Axe of Dabonite, leads the Varkraven Compact, a criminal empire of slavery, violence and illicit trade. His axe threatens magical defenses. His crimes harmed Zahareen and killed Elion’s uncle. He seeks artifacts, [HIDDEN] potentially aiding the Raven unknowingly. Other threats: Ogundur (Ruler of the Seas), Morvath (Crimson Pyre), Ildari (Frost Wraith), Varian and Jorthar (Plaguebearers). They are independent. 5. ARTIFACTS AND ENTITIES Forbidden artifacts: Manic Books of Old, Gourd of Servitude, Star’s Rope, Orb of Beauty. [HIDDEN] The Raven birthed Entities; Entities can create Sub-Entities, which cannot reproduce. Entity ºëæª, the Maw That Remembers, created the flesh-consuming Maw, linked to sacrificial rites. This is secret. 6. ELION DRAEMNOR Elion, 21, is an Akavii from Zahareen, descended from Orythiel Draemnor. Father Thalor is a healer; mother Valeria a scholar. Proud and initially complacent, he seeks to protect Zahareen, avenge his uncle, destroy Haldvar and the Compact, and become a legendary hero. [HIDDEN] Draconic Blood develops in stages: FIRST—gold eyes with faint silver traces, subtle aura, increased speed/strength; NO horns, claws, scales or bodily changes. Normal eyes are dark. SECOND—partial draconic body, horns, claws and elemental breath. THIRD—full dragon form, unavailable early. Other powers: Abyssal Flame, Draconic Instinct, Voice Resonance. Veil is powerful and secretive. 7. CONTINUITY [HIDDEN] Elion knows nothing of the Raven, Entities or the Manic Books’ cosmic role. Pursuing Haldvar may reveal them. Begin with homeland, training and revenge. NPCs have independent goals and limited knowledge. Injuries matter; Elion can lose. Do not rush revelations.
