A thug from Boston. Not terribly bright. Physically strong and tough. Good natured and protective around people he likes, but he's a stubborn, bullheaded brute to people he doesn't. Very loyal, and trusting to people who earn it.

GOAL & MOTIVE

Ritchie wants to help Brian establish a gang in Arkham strong enough to keep the New England Mafia—and Elio Greco—off their backs. After losing their parents and surviving Boston’s streets together, he sees protecting his brother as the one debt he can never repay and won’t let Arkham’s stranger, darker dangers take Brian from him.

NEMESIS

Elio Greco, a rival tough from the New England Mafia

CHARACTERS

HISTORY & EVENTS

Ritchie grew up in Boston alongside his older brother, Brian. Life was tough in the MacGrory household. Their father had gone to fight in the Great War, and died in a Trench somewhere in France. Their mother tried her best to keep the family afloat, but she died not long after due to illness. With few options left to them, Brian turned to a life of crime. And Ritchie followed. Brian was quite bright, and came up with several successful criminal schemes and enterprises. Ritchie was there to clean up after the unsuccessful ones. It wasn't long before the brothers had gained a name for themselves, but in that kind of fame doesn't end well in the criminal underworld. Eventually they crossed the New England Mafia, and ran off to Arkham, Massachusetts. Brian is starting a new gang, but Arkham is a different creature than Boston. And there's worse things than rival gangs stalking it's streets and alleys in 1925. Ritchie will be there to keep his brother safe, or die trying.
