WORLD & RULES

The continent is known as Crescent. It consists of nine regions. The world is steeped in magic,and there are more kinds than can be counted. In some places, magic is feared and in others it is woven into everyday life. There are different kinds of magic, but they all require energy from the caster. The stronger the will, the more powerful the mage. In Starfell, magic is hoarded by the wealthy and poweful. Star shards are heavily monitored and access is restricted.

Ashlynn was born on the island of Starfell, a place where the land is infused with magic. The island is littered with star shards; enormous magical crystals left over from the "falling star" that shattered the land thousands of years ago.
